State of the Art Sinus Surgery

Mass ENT Associates is proud to provide state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for sinus disease. In our office, patients with sinus and nasal problems can undergo diagnostic endoscopic examinations under topical local anesthesia. This allows accurate diagnosis of both common and rare sinus and nasal disorders, facilitating rapid and directed treatment. In the operating room, CT-guided sinus surgery techniques enable us to use a GPS-like system that allows us to work within the narrow confines of the nasal and sinus cavities while safely avoiding the important anatomic structures surrounding the sinuses, including the eyes and the brain. Although the risks with sinus surgery are quite low, use of CT-guidance reduces these risks even further. CT-guidance is not necessary for all sinus surgeries, so please discuss this with your doctor.

Voice Services

Mass ENT Associates is happy to announce that we have teamed with Voicewize to provide diagnostic voice services and voice therapy to patients with vocal disorders. We treat adult and pediatric voice disorders as well as articulation disorders. Additionally, we treat professional voice patients including singers, actors, and public speakers. We provide videostroboscopy, a diagnostic tool that allows visualization of the vocal cords and their vibratory function. With this tool, we can identify subtle vocal fold nodules, scar tissue, or other vocal fold abnormalities that can impact the quality of the voice. Click here to Download Brochure.

Ultrasound

We have teamed with Saints Memorial Ultrasound and Greystone Radiology to provide ultrasound services here at Mass ENT Associates. Diagnostic ultrasounds of neck masses, particularly thyroid masses, can be performed to diagnose thyroid nodules, parotid lesions, and other neck tumors and growths. Additionally, we can proceed with biopsy of concerning lesions using ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirate techniques. This improves accuracy of diagnosis and facilitates more rapid treatment of the lesion in question.
